Donovan Biography: Donovan Leitch was discovered by his first managers in 1964 at the age of eighteen. After cutting a few demos he landed a 3 week stint on Britiain's TV show Ready Steady Go! Donovan exploded onto the music scene as somewhat of a medieval troubadour with his ballads of romantic ideals. In 1965 he hooked up with a new management team that guided him away from his original folksy style into the emerging psychedelic movement of the sixties.
