Beyonce Biography: She started performing at the age of 7. When she was 8 she met LaTavia Robertson, of Destiny's Child, at an audition for a kids group. Beyonce along with Dentiny's Child signed a recording contract with Columbia in 1997. Their song "Killing Time" was used on the sound track of the film The Men In Black. The groups self titled album was a huge success. This Is The Remix came out in 2002 and Beyonce released her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, in 2003. In 2001 she starred in the MTV adaptation of the opera Carmen.
